Four Months Later

Last time I posted... four months ago. Life was very different. Dave was home, holidays hadn't occured, and life was good. Then a lot of changes occurred, but at the same time our life is very much like it was four months ago. Jack is getting really big (almost 3 foot tall now). He likes daycare and gets himself dressed for it almost every morning (well his hat, coat, and boots). He seems to like to play with his friends and after a hard start to daycare in January, he is doing amazing. He has several words now... dada, mama, all done, ah-huh, no, dog, kitty, dumb dog (only once but he said it right after Dave did so I count it...hahaha), ut-oh, and more...I think. He runs waves bye like a big person, and he has a pout now that makes it hard to keep a straight face when you tell him no. The Fletcher big news right now is Dave is moving back to the normal working world shift. He will be working from 6am-2pm (or close to that) instead of 5:30pm-5am. I can't wait to be a family again. And I know that Jack is going to be so excited to have his Daddy home at night to play outside with... football, soccer, baseball, ballet. The sift change couldn't have come at a better time of year....spring. Whatever Jack wants Dave will do. Instead of seeing Dave 10 minutes a day, we can have family dinners again. I will say I have a lot of respect of single moms that don't have family close to rely on for a break for grocery shopping or sanity, or babysitting once in a while. I made it four months, but those moms do it solo for YEARS!!! The past four months have flown by, and I appreciate Dave so much more. I truly believe everything happens for a reason.

Okay, now that I have finally started posting again. I will post again before July!
