It was 4 a.m. on our one year anniversary. I hear this loud MEOW over and over and over again... Dave is sleeping right through it (of course) and I was getting very annoyed that I was wide awake. I slapped Dave's shoulder until he woke up. Dave and I go outside to my moms flowers and find a tiny cat... as soon as Dave picked it up it purred. Dave and I officially added another member to our family! (Okay, after we tried to get rid of it for three days, not that we don't enjoy the kitten now). We used the name "Lily" becasue we found the cat in the daylilies.

After calling the kitten "Lily" for the past twelve days we went to the vet and found out that "Lily" was going to be very mad at us. Lily is a male (Dave was supposed to check!!!), and although Jonny Cash belived a "boy named Sue" would be a good idea... we are currently exploring new names.
