Time or maybe Anticipation

Time~ It passes slowly at some points in life and flies by during other events. I can tell you that I count the minutes when I am wearing one of my two awesome splints, yet on my hour off the splints it flies. I start doing something and I look up and my splint should have been put back on 12 minutes earlier. CRAP So then I run off and put a splint on and watch the clock for another 3-4 hours. In fact, if I were to keep to my schedule exactly as prescribed (and I try) I would be wearing my splint 20 out of 24 hours a day. I asked my surgeon about swimming and my surgeon said that would be great, but I have to do it during one of my hour breaks. So I start swimming tomorrow morning between splints (I wonder if I will really get there).

Anticipation~ Stella decided to show the world how I feel (this picture was taken with our new digital camera~we were playing with the color and b & w) I am not sure how Stella feels in this photo, but it's how I think I feel today. I am anticipating going back to work. I went to my surgeons today and I am off work another month. It would be nice if I got to do stuff (go to Omaha, Germany, England, Shit...anywhere warm), but no... if you are wondering what I am doing in my spare time.... see the comment above Stella.

Dave has been doing well. He got to spend an enjoyable time with Matt while he was here (they only drove me crazy one time...heehee). We got to go to the U of M vs. State Hockey game to see State win (that sucked) but watching a games at Yost is always great. My other highlight of the weekend was going to Buffalo Wild wings and Eating hot sauce. I ate so much Spicy garlic sauce my stomach hurt 20 minutes after I was done eating. I almost went to CVS to get pepto.... it was awful. But I will do it again next time I go, I always do. Back to Dave, the other day at his mom's Dave saw 14 deer outside his moms apartment window/slider...it amazed him for a couple hours, I did a puzzle and his Mom probably thought we were boring. It was nice visiting with his family for his birthday. We went to Clara's in Battle Creek because Craig Weiss Highly recommends the restaurant and Katie and Lisa went as well.

Becky and Brianna weren't able to make it becasue Brianna had the flu so we went to see them at Becky's apartment before goingback home The reason I told you that boring story was so I could post this stellar picture of Becky on the blog (she would wonder why Katie had a photo posted but she didn't have a photo on this blog...you know...sibling rivalry).I hope all is going well for everyone. It is for us, and as much as I complain... I know I have it pretty damn good!
