Please Mommy and Daddy

Jack says~~Please Give me more food mommy and daddy!!! As you can tell by my chubby hands and the fat roll on my wrist I am defiantly NOT getting enough food!!!!

Jack is trying to hold his own bottle... soon he will tell me to let go and he will only want to do it himself!

And that is really all we are up to lately. Taking care of, and feeding ~ always feeding~Jack. He is now eating rice once a day and oatmeal once a day. We are trying to decide when to start more exciting foods like vegetables. They will be homemade~ Julianne used to do this and I thought that she was crazy.... but being the frugal gal I am I see the cost benefit of making your own food. I am not sure when we will start new foods, but I have some supplies to get started thanks to advice from Julianne on how to make and store food~ who knew all you needed was an ice cube tray (well several) and a blender/food processor. Now I know and I am excited to make his food from non-canned fresh veggies.

Dave has been working hard on painting the dining room. We are doing an "up north" or "woodsy" theme. Hopefully it will work out. We already got out light for the room and now it just needs the paint finished, new curtains hung, new light plates up, and we are finished with another room at Buckingham Road. We only have two more rooms to finish upstairs and then we have re-done all the rooms upstairs in our house. The bathroom just needs paint.... and I have idea with the kitchen (floor tile, tile back splash, etc) but I don't know if I am handy enough to do it myself... but I think I will take on the challenge when school gets out for the summer.

Jack is learning how to move the blocks around. Here he put it on his elbow and thought it was exciting.... maybe he thought something else, but his face is happy.
