Da' Flu

So has it entered your house yet? It's crazy this year!!! Usually the flu doesn't hit the schools hard until February... but it's here and in full force. I feel bad because right now Dave is sick... and has been all day. But yet, I don't care to be around him. I got the flu shot because I would feel horrible getting one of my students sick with the flu (they have so many problems as it is) but I don't want to see if it works. So I am avoiding Dave like the plague... and hopefully he doesn't notice until he reads this (after he feels better). I think i'm hiding it well, I ask "hey can I get you anything… okay I’ll be downstairs if you need me". OR "I was thinking I would wash the sheets so that you have clean sheets for later"… HELLO I don’t want to sleep with the FLU germs!!!!!

But really I wrote this blog to say one thing…something that I kept quiet when I heard it. No Becky, Geoff didn't have food poisoning, nor did you and the children get food poisoning two days later at a different restaurant!!! YOU got the FLU!!!! Welcome to Flu season!
