Food
Here's my thing with dieting... I don't really like to eat. So my diet would be me actually eating three meals a day... crap two would even be an improvement. People get mad at me because I never know where to go to eat a meal, but they don't understand that I really don't care because I don't like food that much. Sure I'll eat the crap if it's around... and lately I have been craving more sweets and junk food, but really I can eat anywhere because only on rare occasion I actually want to pick the restaurant. So today Dave and I went to the grocery store and nothing sounded good... because nothing besides cheese and ice cream ever sounds good to me.I look at the vegetables and think "I like to eat those, but if I actually buy them they always go to waste because I am usually too lazy to wash and cut them". And I can't justify paying more to buy the pre-packaged ones that Meijers washes and chops up because that would reinforce my laziness when it comes to food. It's nice visiting Juli because she chops her vegetables up and washes her fruit (I think the minute she gets home from the store). So I can open her fridge and know that I am going to get to eat some of my favorite things already washed and chopped. And it's not just being lazy that makes it difficult to eat it's also because I'm hardly ever hungry (besides 4pm I always hungry at 4 pm, but Dave thinks 4 is too early for dinner) but what do I do if my diet is limited? I am a picky eater... you know vegetarian. I need to start reading more cook books so that I can get away from my favorite foods.... veggie chicken nuggets, bread, cheese, green beans, corn, grits, scrambled eggs & hash browns, I need to learn variety to eat better, which I know will also help with weight and energy levels. And it's not that I don't like to cook because I enjoy cooking dinner for Dave. I guess it's more trips to the store wandering from isle to isle deciding what to eat.

It's true you don't like to pick the restaurant. Very true. Because if left up to you, you would pick Dairy Queen for the banana split. I want food, then the Dairy Queen! I think you should buy the pre-cut fruits and veggies for a while. Then start easing your way into doing it yourself. You will get used to having those pre-cuts ready to go. And one week you can start doing just 1 type yourself. And then the next week wash 2 types yourself. Because if you are not buying fruits and veggies at all right now...well you need to start somewhere. All of this advice comes from someone who only has one pair of pants that fit her right now. And the others that "fit" are workout pants with spandex. Guess I should wear them...to the gym! And if you are hungry at 4 then you should have a healthy snack then. It will tide you over to whenever you eat dinner and then you won't get too hungry. Again I only have one pair of pants that fit...I am one week back on WW. I love that program! And I love you! -Julianne
