Ode To Mothers

Happy Mothers Day to all the mothers I know!!!! I went through my pictures form the past year and realized I don't take very many pictures. It seems like there are so many important pictures of childhood that I should be capturing of my friends and their children... yet I don't take many of other people. I need to change that habit! The pictures I do take hardly ever have both the parents and children in the pictures. Maybe parents get into a group of people and think...I am getting as far away as I can from my children to get a break while all these people are around. Probably not though. I apologize to you mothers that I don't have a picture of with your child. I will do better next year. Happy Mothers day and enjoy it!!! You deserve a day!

Becky and Brenden during the Mother/Son dance at our wedding.
Kylie and Becky sharing a kiss at the church.
David and his Mom before our wedding.Lisa with all but one (ME) of her daughters.
Juli and the girls showing cheek and teeth!!! Nice teeth Juli!
Denise with almost all her pride and joy (can't forget the other grandchild) enjoying a tea party in Omaha.

Kim and Connor relaxing... I will be calling for advice in 13 years!!!Sam and Bri in the front with the moms hidden in the background. Becky with Sam and a rare genuine smile from Bri (I often get the funny face pictures from her)

Damary and Dakota at a tortilla factory...duh!

And finally the most important mother in my life, my mom Lesley. Thanks for all the love, support, and time you have given me not only the past 12 months but the past 30 years! I love you and all that you do for me and David.

What a thoughtful entry to your blog! I need to send my mom a card! Next year you can "officially" celebrate the day. The photo of you and your mother is beautiful.
