Thank-You Duke

So tonight~ a week away from surgery~ I decided to try to figure out more about my surgery. Ulna Humeral Arthroplasty. Above is a picture of what they will do (I will have a hole in my bone~Interesting). And in reading the Duke university website (actually at the top they call it a presentation) http://www.wheelessonline.com/ortho/ulna_humeral_arthroplasty (Careful of the pictures) I learned all I needed to know. In fact it has step by step instructions on the whole thing. Making me wonder if my surgeon will have a laptop in the OR following the directions as he goes along. There are photos. And to be honest... I shouldn't have looked. They show an actual arm opened up during surgery. I have always wondered what position they put me in while slicing open the back of my arm... and now I know and have a visual. So like all things crazy. I felt that if I had to see it I should share it (the pictures). And now I have nothing else to say about my surgery until after it's done. I tried to ignore the complications also. Oh well there's always a risk right?
