Fall means..

Fall means waking up to a chilly morning. A morning where the light covers are just perfect to keep me warm, and I sleep well. I woke up this morning and it was already over 70 degrees. I realize that it's so hot I have fans (yes fans) on to help me sleep.... in OCTOBER. I watched T.V. for a few minutes and the high for Haslett today will be 87 degrees. CRAP. I want my fall temperatures where the norm would be the low 70's. Even though the temperatures don't indicate fall...my back yard does. Here is a pile of walnuts. I think the ANNOYING squirrels (that make very annoying noises in the morning) are making art outside my bedroom window. How else can one explain the PILE of Walnuts?!?! The tree doesn't drop all the walnuts on one side.
Stella saw me taking pictures and wanted her taken. This picture also indicates fall... see all the leaves.... can't wait to start raking them!!! SO many trees at our house. If you haven't purchased a home... take into consideration the trees around them home.... Dave and I are stupid and never thought about trees in February.
Fall also means going to see soccer games. Brenden played well, but he's still too nice. We have to teach him to be more aggressive (I know that can't really be taught). Kylie saw the camera and had to jump into the picture with big brother.
And now she is doing the sibling thing.... "I can sit on the soccer ball too Aunt Robyn. Look take a picture"!!!
And Finally October means Hunting season. Dave decided to make a blanket for the bottom of his blind so that he doesn't have to put his bow on the ground. Gill loved the blanket that was made. I think because he blended in with it so well.

Fall means a lot of things to me. I love fall it's my favorite time of year. So keep playing hard Brenden, Good Luck Dave, and I will post again after all the leaves have been raked... okay I'm not really going to rake. I think I will sew some curtains for the spare bedroom today. Enjoy the late summer!!!

If I had known about the trees I would have warned you. Try having a yard full of Oak trees they drop leaves all fall then again in the spring. It was a novelty the first year now it's just annoying.

I don't have any trees Nah, Nah, Nah, Nah, Nah!! I wish I did though. But not the kind that drop leaves. The magical kind that provide shade, oxygen and beauty but don't make me mad at them in the fall. Where do I buy those? Brenden is so sweet. And Kylie too. Maybe he just doesn't like all of that running...

The kids and dog are so cute. The cat is........ camouflage. I will not be squishing the cat any time soon.
There's no time for raking when you have to prepare for the last 6.2 miles of the marathon!
