Today Becky, Geoff, Brenden, and Kylie came up to go to the beach (Lake Lansing) with Dave and me. We had a quick lunch at our house and then we were off for the long one mile drive. We stayed for four hours and we had so much fun!!! I have never seen Dave in the water so much, and Kylie and Brenden were in as often as he was. Kylie seems to have little fear in the water and will probably be a great swimmer. Kylie was running from Dave and me in the water (at least 25 feet from shore) to her mom outside the water and back to us non-stop. She was asleep at the first stop light when we left, and Brenden only
made is to the second light before sleeping. The lake is awesome for little ones because there is no drop off area so they can stay safe and there are lifeguards on duty to tell others not to throw sand, frisbees, etc. Brenden convinced Geoff to try to catch a fish without a pole (tiny minnows) I don't think he was going to leave until he caught one. Kylie and Brenden had a great time pouring water over Dave's head, and he was a good sport and just sat there and let them.
Kylie and Brenden had smiles all day long!!! I hope they come back soon and anyone else that wants to visit is more then welcome!!!!
