Time is a funny thing.... it goes by so quick (I can't believe that I am due in a week!), yet it can take FOREVER (I still have a week left!). I am Officially 39 weeks, that's 273 Days pregnant! YEAH! One week left... or shall I say....7 days, 5 hours~or 173 hours~ or 10,080 minutes~ or 604,800 seconds. Yes I have so much free time right now I can break it all down for those of you not sleeping to take care of an infant, or chasing toddlers around, or having a drink at the bar. I know he could be here sooner, or later, but that is the date to go by!
I have a week left and I am anxious. This morning I had butterfly's and so much anxiety if I wasn't SO pregnant I would have gone for run to release my energy. I still feel like I need to go for a run... but it hurts to run, I tried to run with students today. Julianne told me it's normal to be anxious right now, I have a lot to think about... and I have been waiting so long. So that made me feel better. And then some students at a school made me a baby blanket and they decided to work on "predictions" and try to guess the baby weight, length, eye color, hair color, birth date, birth time, and name.... here are some of the funny ones...
He will be named Drew, he will be 20 pounds, 10 ounces and 20 inches long (I might be dead after that birth!). He will have purple eyes and he'll be bald.
He will be named Robert, born Oct 9th at 10am. He will be 3 pounds, 8 ounces and one inch long.
This one I thought was interesting because none of the students knew my due date when making predictions....
He will be born October 10th (due date~ the only student to pick my actual due date), he will be born at 7 pm and weight 7 pounds 7 ounces (yes, this student is Autistic- he likes the number 7). He will be 13 inches long with blue eyes and blonde hair. His name will be Steve (that's my Dads name- isn't that weird that he got the due date correct AND he picked my dads name?)
Another student wasn't sure on a name but was positive he would be born in October (LETS HOPE SO) at 10 am or 3 pm. He will be 3 inches long.
Hearing the students read their predictions got me to laugh a lot and my anxiety went down. Funny how children can have that power over us! I also got a vanilla cupcake! And it was good! Although I was offered more, I only ate one to set a good example to the students for good eating habits.
So that was my day.... I started off stressed out, now I'm sitting on my couch relaxing... Hope you are relaxing too!
